Colton Winterfest 10 Mile Road Race

Colton-Pierrepont Central School, Colton NY 13625
• A small yet exciting old-school race offering in the changing culture of running events as often witnessed today. A race for you, by you.
• Accurate, well marked and challenging course on back country roads with little traffic to trouble your race efforts. Again for 2020 – the race starts and finishes at the same location near the school. Registration is at the Colton-Pierrepont School elementary cafeteria beginning at 7:00am. Plenty of parking available. Assurance in 2020 that the event starts on time…..unlike 2019 (sorry again everyone).
• Race day entry. No fuss, no muss! Or, we accept pre-race registration if you like by mail at 6167 CR 27 Canton, NY 13617, or email at ddominie7@gmail.com, or telephone at 315-379-9290. We like to accommodate your needs. 2020 race entry fees are $15.00 US / $18.00 CDN without long sleeve tech shirt OR $37.00 US / $46.00 CDN with long sleeve tech shirt. Entry fee rates are the same whether pre-registering or not!
• Awards (trophies) go 5 deep (per gender) in the following age groups - 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over.
• Special awards outside of age group trophies offered in some unique categories.
• Top three male and female racers earn maple syrup awards in addition to their earned age group award.
• Light post-race refreshments. Winterfest event organizers offer vendors on-site at the school the day of the event with more hardy food items (chili, hot-dogs). Check out all the 2020 Colton Winterfest calendar of events at www.townofcolton.com. Fun abounds in Colton!
• Showers available on site at the school.
• This event is held as a race…..Race other competitors, race the clock, race your own PR, race to conquer! You decide. All abilities welcome….fast or not! Are you a slower paced athlete who wants to start your race early….no problem; just time yourself and let us know such at the finish line for inclusion in final race results.
