Hello Community Partners,

I am reaching out on behalf of our committee that we have in place for the Track & Turf initiative.

As you might recall from out last meeting on March 28th, the committee was tasked with:

Researching the capital expenditure of placing a full FIFA field under a permanent air-pressurized dome.
The operational budget of running an air-pressurized dome.

At this point, and after a lot of leg work, we have enough new information that we deem a follow-up meeting is warranted. We have incorporated some different components into the dome facility (basketball/volleyball courts, pickle ball/badminton courts, & squash courts) that will appeal to a variety of community members. We are also exploring the installation of a 6 - 8 lane rubberized outdoor track. We hope to meet on Tuesday, June 26th at 7 pm at the Ramada Inn & Conference Centre.
