New Clinics from UTBMC
Spring is just around the corner! Don’t wait to get your technique dialed up in the pool or to get stronger/tougher for the summer sports season. Below are a list of the upcoming clinics being offered by Unleash the Beast Multisport Coaching in March. I’ve got a lot of great clinics planned to get you ready for your big races this summer or just to get you in better shape for your summer activities.

Triathlon Swim Clinic - Tuesday Evenings 8:30-9:30pm, March 8 - April 12th (6 sessions) Location: Cornwall Aquatic Centre

This clinic will focus on improving technique required for a more efficient freestyle including balance, proper stroke, power, efficient breathing and proper kicking. Each session will include drills to improve technique. Swimmers should be able to swim at least 100m freestyle without stopping. Above and under water video analysis will be provided. Swimmers will receive 1 hour coached session plus a structured workout to do on their own each week.

Pre registration is required. Maximum 12 athletes.

Cost for all 6 sessions = 100$ (including HST).

Advanced Triathlon Swim Clinic: Speed and Power - Wednesday mornings 6am - 7am, March 9 - April 13th (6 sessions) Location: Cornwall Aquatic Centre

This clinic will focus on technique specific for increasing power and speed. Sessions will include a combination of speed sets and technique drills. Swimmers should be able to swim at least 400m freestyle without stopping. Above and under water video analysis will be provided. Swimmers will receive 1 hour coached session.

Pre registration is required. Maximum 12 athletes.

Cost for all 6 sessions = 100$ (including HST).

Learn to Swim Freestyle - Thursday Evenings 8:30-9:30pm, Mar 10 - April 14th (6 sessions) Location: Cornwall Aquatic Centre

This Learn to Swim clinic is ideal for people who are just learning to swim freestyle (front crawl) or those who are not yet confident in their freestyle technique. The focus is on balance, basic freestyle stroke technique, correct breathing and proper kicking, all to get the swimmer more comfortable and confident in the water. No swimming experience is required. Workouts will be structured to accommodate various levels of ability. Participants will get one hour coached swim session plus a structured workout to do during the week on their own. Above water video analysis is included.

Pre registration is required. Maximum 12 athletes.

Cost for all 6 sessions = 100$ (including HST).

Strength and Flexibility Workouts - Beast in the Cave - March 22 - April 28th (12 sessions) Location: St Lawrence College Gym

Want to get stronger and more powerful on your bike or run faster or are you looking to boost your metabolism and work off a few pounds? Beast in Cave is for you. This strength, cardio and flexibility workout will get you learner, stronger and more flexible in time for the spring races or summer dresses! The sessions combine strength, cardio and flexibility work for a one hour full body workout. All workouts/exercises can be adapted for different levels from beginners to advanced athletes.

Free parking and access to lockers and showers are included.

Pre-registration is required - participation is limited to 10 people

Cost of all 12 sessions: $100 + HST = $113.
