H2O temp
The St. Lawrence river is certainly testing our patience this year but, good news, the temperature just breached 60F-61F today at 7:00AM. The Kayak/Dive shop in Lancaster behind Tim's has inflatable swim buoys for open water swimmers safety. I have one & my neighbours (both on land & cottages 500m away)say how visible I am. Highly recommended!
good to know. thank you for posting
the buoys are in the water, i'll be going in tonight at 5 and will post back on how the water felt....I may not be the best judge of temperature right now given I probably have excess heat still left in my body from my 40+degree IM race this past Sunday.
We're over the 70 degree mark as of 6:45am today-71.5 degrees. Will try sleeveless this weekend.
Gary, you must have one of those Ironman thermometers. That was the coldest 71.5 degrees ever!
70.5!! Coldest I've experienced for this time in August in the 22 years I've lived here.
